Reinheim is the gateway to the Gersprenztal and lies in the middle of the beautiful Vorderen Odenwald.
The Reinheimer Teich nature reserve invites you to walk, linger and discover. Reinheim is also an interesting place
to live for young and old: the city itself runs six kindergartens. In the core city there is a primary school and a
comprehensive school with a secondary school branch (up to grade 10). Primary schools are also located in the
individual districts. Over 30 playgrounds await the children. There is also a spacious leisure center in the
Georgenhausen district of Reinheim. The offering for children and young people is rounded off by the skating
facility at the sports center and the leisure pool, which was completely renovated in 2009.
But the older Reinheimers don't miss out either: there are over 140 different clubs (sports clubs, singing clubs,
shooting clubs, etc.). The Hofgut Cultural Center offers a variety of cultural events. The local industry is structured
as a medium-sized business, with numerous small businesses ensuring the daily needs of the population.
