Ebersbach-Neugersdorf, where the Spree rises - Discover old traditions and modern urban development,
surrounded by an incomparably harmonious mountain landscape! The young town of Ebersbach-Neugersdorf emerged in 2011 from the merger of the traditional towns of
Neugersdorf and Ebersbach/Sa. emerged and today forms a livable small town with around 12,100 inhabitants.
It is part of the southern Upper Lusatian Mountains, in the Görlitz district and located directly on the Czech border.
Not just the large factor house “Alte Mangel” in the OT Ebersbach/Sa. is a symbol of the history of the linen weavers.

the lovingly restored factory owner's villas, which bear witness to the great times of the textile industry.
Two of the three sources of the Spree that give Ebersbach-Neugersdorf its famous nickname are located on the
territory of our city. The most productive of the three sources of the Spree is located in the OT Neugersdorf, directly
in front of the Volksbad. On the Spreeborn in the OT Ebersbach/Sa. A cast iron pavilion was built in 1896.
